Gipsys for sale

HFX 228E 1967 Austin Gipsy Recovery Vechicle
Sold new to Esso Petroleum of Fawley Southampton for site use only. In 1971 sold to Webbers Car Sales of Chard in Somerset who in turn sold her to a local garage where she was converted to a recovery vechicle. She is fitted with a Harvey Frost Jib and Turner Winch.
Had been in retirement for the last 11 or so years and alot of time and money has been spent on her to get her back on the road but keeping her as oriiginal as possible. She has the BMC 2.2 petrol engine and you can she is "Still in her working
Clothes".

1961 Austin Gipsy G2M10 (short wheel base)

"It has the original BMC diesel engine.  It has a few small patches of bondo and could use a paint job but it is not all rusted out or beat up.  I have the window section above the two doors but no top.  I do not have a front bumper.  Seats have been re-upholstered in black vinyl.  Tires are probably 30 years old but still holding air.  I obtained this Gipsy as payment for a job I did in Alaska.  I have owned it for about 25 years but have only driven it about 30 miles.  It drove and sounded very good, did not smoke.  I have not started it up for probably five years.  It has been stored indoors.  I have a service manual, including gas and diesel engines, and an operator's manual.  The Gipsy is located in Riverside, California.  I would like to have $2000 (firm) for it."
